Kristin Olivia Michod

Background

Kristin joined the Spatial Cognition Lab in August of 2005.  She holds a bachelor of science in Psychology from the University of Arizona with a minor in Biology.  As an undergraduate she worked in Mary Peterson's Visual Perception Lab.  After college, she worked for two years as a research assistant in the Visual Attention Lab with Jeremy Wolfe and Todd Horowitz.

Kristin is interested in how the visual system integrates incoming perceptual information with previously stored cognitive representations.  Her work focuses on the role of attention in the perception of a scene's layout as well as the role layout plays in scene perception.  Click here to see her CV.
